Browzine

The 3 month trial of Libkey Nomad also includes access to Browzine. What is Browzine?

BrowZine is an interface that allows users to browse and access most of the Library’s subscribed e-journals from a range of publishers in one place. With BrowZine you can browse journals by title, subject or ISSN.

Key features of BrowZine 

  • Search for titles or browse by subject area
  • Download, share, and manage citations
  • Integrate with reference management software tools like EndNote
  • Access journal content from a variety of publishers

Try it now by entering a subject in the search box below, if you are prompted to login, follow the instructions below.

Search e-journals

 

On a PC or Laptop

You may have noticed a new button called Journals Beta on the library homepage. Clicking the button will take you to Browzine or you can go directly by clicking here. If you are prompted to log in, a list of libraries will appear, either scroll through the list, or search 'Sunderland' in the search bar to find 'University of Sunderland' and select it.  Then log in with your University user name and password. If you want to personalise the experience we recommend creating an individual user account by clicking on 'Sign up' and entering your email address.

On a mobile device

To download BrowZine: From your Android, iOS or Kindle Fire device, visit the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Amazon App Store. Search for “BrowZine” and download the app to your device. then tap on the app icon to open BrowZine. A list of libraries will appear, please select 'University of Sunderland' and log in with your University user ID and password.

Features

Browzine comes with some great personalization features, including My Articles and My Bookshelf which allow users to save and organise their favourite journal articles and titles. Users can also set up alerts to be notified when new articles are published

  • My Articles: Save articles to read offline, and organize them into collections 
  • My Bookshelf: Add favorite journals, track titles, and receive notifications when new articles are published 

How to access personalization features 

After logging in to the University of Sunderland account you can create a personal BrowZine account. Click on 'Sign Up' then enter your email address and create a password. The system will send you an email confirmation which you need to accept.
