Information on interlibrary lending requests

All loans are initially for eight weeks.

Provided that the item has not been requested by one of our students or staff, items can be renewed. Please e-mail us to discuss a renewal.

The following types of items can not usually be borrowed through interlibrary loan:

  • Items on reading lists.
  • Reference material.
  • Fragile or unsuitably bound items.
  • Items from our special collections and secure collections.

We would are happy to discuss alternatives, such as supplying single chapters instead. Please note that we reserve the right to decline a request for any reason.
