Library Support for Staff at UK partners (Local)

Help and support for staff at UK Partners (Local) in using University Library Services to support students.

Renew your Library Access

As a member of partner staff you will need to renew your University Library access for the 24/25 academic year.

The University Library is changing how access is granted to collaborative partner staff.

At the moment access to e-resources is automatically granted once an feID is created. To help us comply with e-resource licences the library will remove this automatic connection and create library access manually going forward.

This change will mean that the fe IDs of existing partner tutors will no longer provide access. The University Library will manually create new Library accounts for partner staff and we ask your assistance with this.

If you are a member of teaching staff or library staff at a partner centre and you require continued access to University of Sunderland Library e-resources to support students, please complete the following form. A new account will be created and emailed to you.

You will not be able to use your University User ID to access the library after 30th September 2024. This change affects the library only. You should continue to use your University User ID for all other University services.

If you do not yet have a University User ID please do not complete this form. You will need to contact the University Academic Registry Team. More information including contact details are available on the Library guides: Staff at an Overseas Partner (TNE) or Staff at UK Partners (local).

Please be assured that tutors will have the same level of access; we will just provide a new library username that is separate from your University User ID.
