Have a Search Plan

When doing a literature review you will want to find and select relevant sources and critically read them to identify key debates and issues. Below we’ve pulled together some guides and videos that can help you search effectively.

 

Before you start searching we recommend you take a few minutes to develop a search strategy.

Thinking of a good range of keywords can make a big difference in your search. The key concepts of your topic will provide some initial keywords. You can then think of some alternative keywords using synonyms, acronyms, and alternate spellings.
