University of Sunderland students and staff have access to all of the ebooks in the University Library. Ebooks are great because you can access them from anywhere on any device that has a web browser. The Library buys individual ebooks and also subscribes to ebook packages (a bundle of ebooks from a supplier in a subject area). The different ebook suppliers provide access via their individual platforms. The main platforms we use are Ebook Central, VLebooks, EBSCO eBooks, ClinicalKey Student, Sage Catalyst and O'Reilly, although there are some others. Each platform looks a little different, but they all offer similar features and functionality.
