There are some websites that are great sources of information for Hospitality, Events, Aviation & Tourism. Professional associations or industry organisations, government departments and research bodies often publish research that is freely available to download. This includes research reports, professional practice and current news.

European Travel Commission
- European Travel Commission
Representing the National Tourism Organisations of the countries of Europe the ETC conduct research and publish reports that are available to download for free.
Below are some examples:
- Monitoring Sentiment for Domestic and Intra-European Travel gauges the sentiment, drivers and behaviours for domestic and intra-European travel in ten high-volume European countries. Key findings and recommendations are published in monthly reports.
- European Tourism Trends & Prospects - quarterly reports looking at industry performance including air travel & accommodation.
- Long-Haul Travel Barometer - 'forward-looking information about short-term travel trends among potential travelers from Australia, Brazil, China, Canada, Japan, Russia and the US. The analysis sheds light on travelers’ preferences, motivations and barriers related to travelling to and within Europe.'
IATA Annual Reports (International Air Transport Association)
- IATA Annual ReviewIATA publish annual reports which look at aspects of air travel including safety and security, and environment and sustainability.
The latest edition was published in June 2023 and can be downloaded as a pdf.
Civil Aviation Authority
- Civil Aviation Authority (UK)
The statutory corporation which oversees and regulates all aspects of civil aviation in the United Kingdom. You can find some data and analysis related to the aviation industry.
UNESCO World Heritage
- UNESCO World HeritageUnited Nations organization seeking to identify, protect and preserve cultural and natural heritage. View the World Heritage List and the Global Strategy which aims to ensure the List reflects the worlds cultural and natural diversity. UNESCO also provide statistics on the List.
