If you have your own device, you can use either the eduroam or UoS Guest networks when visiting our spaces.
Using the eduroam WiFi network as a guest
eduroam is available in all University buildings and provides internet connectivity for visiting students and staff from other academic institutions. If your institution participates in the eduroam service you will be able to access this WiFi network on campus with your own device. Your own institution will be able to provide login credentials for the network. See the eduroam website for more information.

eduroam website eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community; allowing students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions.
Using the UoS Guest WiFi network as a guest
The University also offers a UoS Guest WiFi network. Follow the attached instructions and at step 8 please enter 'Library'.
